Referees & Coaches Blacklist

This page is not for derogatory or shaming purposes, but to highlight the infractions of referees & coaches that have since been banned, and what MOF strives to eradicate to ensure that referees & coaches meet the bare minimum expectations of being a match official or a coach.

of standby referee

Ragunathan 22nd June 2019 Refused to do games assigned

to him that weekend without valid reason.

last minute replacement

had to be found (not first occurence for the ref)

and games went on as per normal.

Muhammad Azrian Bin Azman 12th November 2017 MIA and could not be contacted game proceeded with the arrival

of standby referee

Saravanan s/o Jaya Palan 15th October 2016 did not turn up for game he was

assigned to

game could not proceed
Lim Seng Tiong (Max) 15th May 2016

12th March 2017

stopped the game halfway to attend

to his illegally parked bike when LTA arrived

officiated game in slippers because

ref claimed his shoes were wet

game ended prematurely

game proceeded as per normal

with the use of proper shoes

Mohd Khairulanwar 4th December 2017 called and verbally abused MOF

staff for being paid $10 short by mistake for games officiated.

continued to be abusive and vulgar in whatsapp

group chat between MOF staff and said referee

after being paid the remaining $10.

Jeremy Zacharies Tan 2nd October 2016 MIA and could not be contacted game proceeded with the arrival

of standby referee

Muhammad Elias bin Ramli various late for games on numerous

occasions

games kicked off 20-30 mins

after scheduled KO time

Shahir Muhammad Bin Hamzah 22nd May 2016 asked another ref to cover him

without informing MOF

game started late

as the friend that covered him was late
