A fixture that could potentially decide who walks away as the champions of the Northern Division as CPG and Young Boys battle it out on Thursday to seize the initiative in the race for the title.
CPG have yet to lose a single game but their form has dropped a little for their past two games as they just managed to scrape through to keep their winning streak intact. It will be too soon to write them off just yet given the vast amount of quality they have in their side and their dominative style of play, ending the season without losing a single game is still a possibility for CPG as they look to regain their form for the biggest game of the season.
Young Boys have been equally impressive themselves, adding style to substance with their style of football, most recently against fellow contenders KnockarounD. The Social Division Champions have struggled against their bigger opponents in the earlier part of the season, losing against both CPG and KnockarounD but they sent a message to their rivals after last week’s impressive victory and they will certainly be hoping they can repeat the same feat against CPG.
Evenly matched, similar style of football, we should be in for a spectacle on Thursday night as these two heavyweights go head to head!
