Toa Payoh Rangers’ winning start came to a halt on Sunday after Ranger United held them to a 5-5 draw in a match where there was certainly no shortage of goals.
RAN were 3-0 up after their player scored a hat-trick after just 20 minutes but TPY showed their never say die attitude that was a so evident in their brilliant finish to the end of the last season as they came back to level the score.
TPY eventually went into the lead shortly after equalizing but RAN managed to bring the scores level and scored what looked to be the winner just 8 minutes from time. But yet again, TPY’s unwillingness to accept defeat showed as they equalized just 3 minutes before the final whistle as both teams shared the spoils.
