Division 7 champions Reunite FC would have been forgiven for taking a little time getting used to life in Division 4 after winning the Division 7 title last season, but that didn’t seem to be a problem for them at all as they signalled their intent in the league with an emphatic 7-1 win over Division 7 runners-up Lads 13.
RFC were dominant in every department throughout the game as they proved just why they were Division 7 champions last season, showing no signs of complacency against Lads 13, who will be disappointed with the manner of their defeat after winning their first two games.
A bright start to the season for both teams promoted from Division 7, but it remains to seen if Reunite FC can maintain this form and Lads 13 can bounce back from this disappointing defeat.
