Rendezvous FC vs Aquila FC
Cup games are hardly ever boring and this fixture between last season’s Sunshine Division Champions Renezvous FC and Division 5 Champions Aquila FC proved to be an interesting one as all four goals in a 2-2 draw were scored in the first 25 minutes of the first half.
Rendezvous FC raced into a 2-0 lead after just 15 minutes but it only took a minute for Aquila FC to pull a goal back and eventually equalize just 8 minutes later as both teams went into the break with scores level at 2-2.
Both teams failed to find a way past each other in the second half which brought the game to penalties, which Aquila FC won 2-1 to seal their progress to the next round of the MOF Cup.
