Ta Milan XI were on the verge of ending The Rookies’ winning streak on Sunday but it was not meant to be, as The Rookies just managed to come out on top in a close fought game, winning 2-1.
It was a close affair for most parts of the game as it took until 2 minutes before half time for the opening goal, as Ta Milan drew first blood to go into the break with a 1-0 lead.
It looked as if the result was done and sealed until The Rookies levelled the scores in just 7 minutes from time, and they broke Ta Milan’s hearts after Rookies sealed the result with the winner 2 minutes before the final whistle.
