Upsets are becoming a norm for Philippines FC SG after they completed the double over Division III champions Mak Hitam 95 with a 4-2 victory.
It was nothing but a deserved victory for PFC as they showed the hunger and will to see the game out, battling for every ball and withstanding attack after attack from MH95 in the later stages of the game.
PFC will certainly be on a high after consecutive victories over big sides but what continues to plague them is their struggle to get the better of the sides below them.
Consistency or luck can be cited as a reason for their current league position, but there is certainly no doubt that PFC have the quality and the mantle to achieve greater things in the division after this impressive victory.
