Futsal always promises plenty of goals but Old Boys FC have certainly set the benchmark after they completed a 33-2 drubbing of Crewsaiders FC.
In what was the highest scoring game in MOF 5s Leagues history, OBFC started off a little shaky when a spirited CREW side levelled the scores after going behind early in the game. But everything changed once OBFC clicked into gear as they relentlessly bombarded their opponents’ defence, scoring goal after goal as CREW’s goalkeeper could not be blamed for feeling dejected after having to pick the ball from his own net so many times during the game.
In other news at the top of the table, Supernova FC recorded a 15-2 victory over Anonymous FC and had their goalkeeper Shuen Yew to thank for making several point blank saves which could prove to be crucial with goal difference being a possible title decider at the end of the season.
