Aquila FC spared blushes in 2-2 draw with LKB FC
An upset looked to be on the cards on Sunday as LKB FC almost sealed victory over Division VI Champions Aquila FC, only for the latter to to snatch a point with minutes left to play.
A comfortable victory against bottom table side LKB was expected of AQL considering their impressive start to the season but it was anything but, as LKB gave the favourites a run for their money after they look the lead after just 5 minutes played, as they held on to their lead until the break.
AQL looked to have clicked back into gear after they equalized just 2 minutes after the restart, but they soon found themselves on the back foot again as LKB restored their lead 3 minutes later.
LKB could almost taste their first win of the season but they failed to hold on as AQL snatched an equalizer just five minutes from the final whistle as both teams shared the spoils.
