TSS Loses Traction On Title, Misses Chance To Close Up
TSS FC loses a great opportunity to close the gap on leaders ACES United when they lost for a consecutive second time on Sunday. TSS was humbled 0-4 against Team FECA at home. On the back of a top of the table clash loss to ACES 3-2 just a week ago, TSS needed to make sure they do not drop any more points this week when they host then 6th placed Team FECA.
A barrage of goals misplaced the 2nd placed team into disarray. The usual composure was missing. A robust performance by FECA did not help the cause as well. To make things worse, an impending disciplinary investigation in its closing stages leading to a potential docking of points will see TSS lose even more ground.
This was only FECA’s 2nd win of the season and a giant scalp it was as they triumphed over a team whose form in the earlier stages of the season took the Division by storm. Although not gaining any promotion in position on the table, FECA looks primed for a future overtaking of some teams, provided their performance continues in the weeks to come.
