MOF has a zero tolerance towards aggression, verbal or physical abuse. ‘Bad calls by referees’ are NEVER reasons for violence – but they are sadly the most cited excuses by violent footballers.

Local FC (Manager Nigel) | Friendly | 10 July 2022 | Lightning alert was on, but one member of Local FC persisted to call the hotline to ask for play to start despite the lightning alert being on, and despite clear communication from MOF hotline that lightning alerts must be respected.. Team Manager defended the player stating continually asking about the lightning alert was not a serious matter. As a result of this conduct Local FC & its members and manager are permanently banned from all MOF/MOS games, activities, in any role or capacity whatsoever. Per our T&C, any team manager who fields any of them will be subject to a $500 fine per individual/incident. |
Riz FC (Manager Sufi bin Fadzlien) | Friendly | 3 July 2022 | Manager Sufi queried referee’s decision on yellow carding him. On investigation, it was Sufi whose reckless tackle was the main issue. Sufi’s attitude over the hotline defending himself and his actions have caused him to be banned. MOF does not condone unhappiness about on-pitch referee decisions and subsequently abusing the MOF hotline for justifications for offending player’s own actions. As a result of this conduct Riz FC & its members and manager are permanently banned from all MOF/MOS games, activities, in any role or capacity whatsoever. Per our T&C, any team manager who fields any of them will be subject to a $500 fine per individual/incident. |
CUFC (Manager Haikal) | Friendly | 19 Jun 2022 | CUFC was overly aggressive and threatening to instigate fights with opponent team. As a result of this conduct CUFC & its members and manager are permanently banned from all MOF/MOS games, activities, in any role or capacity whatsoever. Degenerates FC (Manager; ‘Zawana’ Kaung Khant Kyaw) | Friendly | 21 Mar 2020 | Sports Center mixup led to the friendly being moved to a nearby venue provided last minute by the Sports Center, with discounted rate agreed upon. However, at the venue, both teams request to cancel the friendly for full refund. After referee left, both teams played a game while under lightning alert, knowing that they were not supposed to. When asked, they stated that the reason was the field ‘was free’. MOF views such behavior as reprehensible and is checking with authorities if it amounts to cheating. |
