Mak Hitam 95 On 19 Games Unbeaten Streak
The last defeat vs 529’ers dating all the way back to February this year meant newly crowned Division III Champions Mak Hitam 95 are unbeaten and have won the last of their 19 games in all competitions in MOF 11s Weekend League.
The 19th victory came last Sunday when they beat Fazy Wazy FC from Division IV, albeit barely, in a Round III tie, winning by a single goal all game. Striker #99 Hanrong was on target after the FWZ Goalkeeper unfortunately mishandled a loose ball. The prolific striker pounced on the opportunity to take his team to a 1-0 lead. With the rest of the periods being as combative, his goal was good enough to seal MH95 into the Quarterfinals of the Season 5 MOF Cup.
A remarkable feat, only second to immediate past Division I Champions Happy Feet United, a revamped MH95 look unstoppable as they wrapped up the Season 5 title in style.
