Major upset as Lorong Ah Soo triumph past champions Tiki Taka
Tiki Taka’s hopes of regaining the Social 5s title took a big blow after Lorong Ah Soo claimed a scalp last night after they beat the Season 2 champions 6-5.
Things did not go well right from the start for TIKI as they went into the break trailing 0-4. as LAS’s defence stood firm and prevented TIKI from creating any clear goal scoring opportunities.
However, TIKI came into the second half determined and they managed to bring the scores level at 5-5 towards the later stage of the game, with forward Senthil scoring a quick-fire hat-trick to spark new life into his side.
It looked as if TIKI were eventually going to snatch the 3 points given all their dominance in the second half but it was heartbreak for them as LAS scored a late winner to cause a huge upset.
