After a close draw with Phaidon Gents last week, Puerto Ninos managed to scrape a hard-earned victory against Lorong Ah Soo FC. League veterans LSFC proved to be tough opposition for PNFC as both sides showed their tenacity and desire throughout the game.
In the end it was PNFC who held on for their first victory of the season as the game started to heat up towards the end, with three yellow cards being showed to PNFC players towards the end of the second half.
Dorset Boyz couldn’t have asked for tougher opponents than Season 2 champions Tiki Taka and they were made to dig deep after going 3-0 down early in the first half.
But DBY certainly proved their credentials with after they managed to stage a comeback as both teams went into half-time with the score locked at 3-3, as their swift passing game proved too much for TT to deal with, who will be left ruing several missed opportunities late in the second half.
