Competition For The MOF Cup Heats Up
Today we will witness 4 of the 8 fiercest Round 3 battle it out as they attempt to gain progression into the Final 8.
Toh Guan Krew, after a heart-stopping victory against Division VII Lads 13 by winning through penalties, face Kamikaze in the first fixture. It is a hard-to-guess game where tough TGK aim to break the youthful KMZ, who first reached this stage a month plus ago.
Next we have last week’s Team of the Week ACCDOK United take on newly promoted to Division I and Season 5 Division II Champions, IF:v2. It remains to be seen if ACC can claim a giant scalp when they host the men in white.
Season 5 Division VI Champions La Serpiente FC have a tougher draw against top flight’s Project Vaults FC. The Golden Eagles have had a scare earlier in Round 2 but will be cautious not to repeat the same again this time round.
Last but not least, Division III Champions Mak Hitam 95, after a packed march through the initial rounds after the Ramadan break, lines up against promoted ( to Division I ) 529’ers. After surviving through a hard fought 3-3 draw with fellow Round 3 team, Y Homeless, in the league, will MH95 be taken advantage of because of tired legs ? We shall see.
