Happy Feet United’s unbeaten run looked as if it was never going to end, but it looked like it was going to for a moment of Sunday when last season’s Division 2 Champions IF:v2 were 3-1 up for most of the game, what;s more remarkable is that IF:v2 only had nine men in their starting line-up on Sunday.
Happy Feet’s Hanafi opened the scoring in the 12th minute only for IF:v2’s no.22 to equalize just five minutes later and from then IF:v2 seized the momentum and went into the lead just two minutes after they levelled the scores, as they held on to bring a narrow 2-1 lead into HT.
HFU’s unbeaten run looked in greater danger when IF:v2 added to their lead in the 54th minute. But unfortunately, IF:v2 ran out of steam as HFU staged a remarkable comeback as they scored three goals in four minutes towards the end of the game to make sure their unbeaten streak was intact.
