Toa Payoh Rangers’ winning streak was brought to an abrupt halt on Sunday after they were held to a 4-4 draw by Borrachoz who secured their first point of the season.
Borrachoz drew first blood after they were awarded a penalty in the 14th minute which they converted, only for TPY to level the scores again just 12 minutes.
But things did not stay level for long, as Borrachoz restored their lead just 8 minutes after the equalizer but they failed to carry their lead into the break after TPY equalized again just before half time as both teams went into the break with the scores level.
It was end to end stuff in the second half with TPY taking the lead for the first time in the game after a minute after the restart only for Borrachoz to bring the scores level again 10 minutes later. TPY looked to have added the final nail in the coffin after they restored their lead in the 63rd minutes, but were left disappointed as Borrachoz equalized 7 minutes from time as both teams shared the spoils.
