FC Quinns vs The Rookies
New boys FC Quinns stumbled to their second successive defeat after they were soundly beaten by Division 7 second runners-up The Rookies in a goalfest which ended 6-3.
It was a one sided affair as The Rookies made their experience count after they raced into a 5-0 lead after just 30 minutes played as a young FC Quinns side struggled to exert themselves onto the game.
FC Quinns did manage to pull 3 goals back in the second half although it was too little too late by then as The Rookies kicked off their new season in perfect fashion.
